01Update Google Chrome, step by step
- 1Look for a pending updateNormally you don’t need to do anything: Chrome updates in the background when you close and reopen it. If you haven’t closed your browser in a while, you may see a pending “Update” button in the top right corner.
- 2Click Update and relaunchClick the button and let Chrome restart to apply the update.
- 3Or choose Not NowIf you’d rather not restart right away, click “Not Now.” The update will be applied the next time you restart the browser.
